I was requested by the Welbeck Estate to help restore two of four cupolas from the roof of Welbeck College. Prior to my receiving each cupola, they had been divided in 3 in order to remove them from the roof and stored for some years in less than ideal circumstances. Nevertheless, they were in surprisingly good condition, clearly having been made from superior materials.

I had to remove the damaged oak boards, then set the three sections together in order to manufacture the right shaped oak bricks to enable the base rotunda to be restored to the correct size. As each oak brick was replaced, it was secured with non-ferrous screws
